The 80th International Astronautical Congress comes at a defining moment in humanity’s journey beyond Earth.

As the world enters a new era of lunar exploration, commercial space stations, planetary defense, and unprecedented global participation in space, Houston stands ready to welcome the international space community for a Congress unlike any before it.

Expected to attract more than 13,000 delegates from over 80 countries and 5,000 technical paper presentations, IAC 2029 Houston will bring together the people and organizations shaping the future of space.

About IAC

The International Astronautical Congress (IAC), organized annually by the International Astronautical Federation (IAF), is the world’s largest and most prestigious global space conference.

Each year, the Congress brings together governments, space agencies, industry leaders, researchers, startups, investors, astronauts, and students from across the international space community.

The event attracts more than 7,000 delegates from 80-100 countries and features over 4,000 technical research papers, making it the premier global forum for advancing space exploration and collaboration.
